Champions League final: Real Madrid beat Liverpool to win trophy for third consecutive year


Real Madrid have clinched the Champions League for a third consecutive year.
The LaLiga giants beat Liverpool 3-1 in Saturday’s final in Kiev, to retain the trophy again.
Both teams lost players in a goalless first half, with Mohammed Salah and Dani Carvajal going off injured.
Karim Benzema pounced on Karius’ mistake to open scoring in the second half, before Sadio Mane equalized from a set piece.
Zinedine Zidane’s decision to introduce Gareth Bale proved to be a masterstroke, as the Welshman netted twice after coming on for Isco
