Davido signs Sauce Kid aka Sinzuu into DMW

Popular singer, Davido on Monday signed US-based Nigerian rapper, Babalola Falemi, aka Sauce Kid or Sinzuu, to his DMW record label.

This is coming few weeks after Saucekid was released from jail in America.

Davido and DMW made the announcement on their Instagram pages, sharing a photo of the artiste signing his contract.

The caption read: ”Announcing my new artiste, New DMW signee, Sinzuu.”

DAILY POST recalls that the ‘Assurance’ crooner had last week signed new artist, Idowest to the record label, DMW.

Davido then explained that he signed Idowest because he has worked hard and proven to be a part of his team.

kiki Osinbajo, daughter of Vice president Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has shared her feeling on the relationship between superstar singers, Wizkid and Tiwa Salvage.

The Vice President’s daughter who shared pictures of the two singers on stage at the Afro Republik held two days ago, said she is in love with Tiwa Savage and Wizkid’s friendship and love.

Kiki is undergoing the compulsory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.

In a short clip posted on her Instagram page on Monday, Kiki wrote, “Can I just say I’m in love with this friendship/love,” sharing photos of Wizkid and Tiwa holding each other on stage.

Popular Nigerian singer, Temitope Adekunle, known as Small Doctor has narrated how he rose to stardom.

Small doctor speaking on Rubbin Minds, a Channels TV show said he dropped out of UNILAG because he had no time and money to concentrate on his studies as he was hustling to make money as a bus conductor.

“I had recorded my first single, I had been gaining airplay in my hood back then. Agege, Ogba, all those places.

“But person no fit just stand dey believe say dem go dey call you for show.

“Those times if you’re opportuned to be on the stage you go beg with the fact that they’ve been playing the song all the while. So I just needed to have some other things to just keep the ball going.

“Despite my early successes by going to school in my neighbourhood, I had to make a living, detailing his regular bus routes in Lagos.

“I was a conductor for years, almost a decade,From Agege to Ikeja, Ikeja to Maryland, Maryland to Yaba.

“I shuttled that place for like three to four years. I moved to Oshodi to Mushin under bridge. So it was from Oshodi to Mushin, Mushin to Oshodi I spent like six to seven years.

“I decided to go to school (UNILAG) during that time but had carryovers and could not concentrate due to lack of funds and time so I dropped out,” he disclosed.

He, however, added that he has plans on returning to school to complete his education very soon.

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Nina has finally addressed reports making the rounds of breakup with Miracle.

UPDATE TOWERS recalls that both housemates were involved in a romantic relationship and caught having sex while in the reality show. 

However, few weeks after the show, reports emerged that Miracle dumped Nina after emerging winner of the just concluded reality show.

Nina, in her reaction, took to her Instagram page, denying a split with Miracle, stressing that nothing has changed in her relationship with the BBN winner.

She explained that Miracle is a private person and does not like a third party in his personal life, the reason he has not spoken about their relationship.

“You all really need to understand that Miracle and I are not in any manner or form having issues, trust me, he is still the miracle everyone knows .

“He is just a private person who does not want his life out there. Please Everyone , Miracle and Nina are very ok and nothing has changed.

Nigerian musician, Kiss Daniel changes stage name

Nigerian musician, Daniel Anidugbe, popularly known as Kiss Daniel, has changed his stage name.

The artiste on Tuesday afternoon changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel from Kiss Daniel.

This was as he reflected the change in his social media accounts.

The singer recently left his former label, G-Worldwide, due to uncertain legal circumstances that have seen some of his recent songs removed from music stores.

The record label reportedly owns the stage name “Kiss Daniel”, as such the singer was not expected to trade under it.

The singer had started his own record label and was trading with “Kiss Daniel & FLY BOY INC”.

A viral image of Alex and a mystery man on Sunday broke the internet, with some fans suggesting that Tobi, also an ex-BBN housemate, is the person.

The photo, which clearly showed Alex’s face, had the caption, “Sleepy head, I’m in love with u”

In her reaction via Instagram, Alex wrote: ”Good morning people, please my Snapchat account has been hacked.

”I do not have a picture like this first of all and my Snapchat account has been hacked. I really do not understand what people will gain by making this kind of picture.

Meanwhile, Alex has also opened up on having abortion at age 16.

In a chat with Punch, she said “The issue was grossly misinterpreted and it is something I don’t even want to explain right now.

This is as the social media is buzzing with the news of her pregnancy.

Linda had in a post on her blog disclosed that she is pregnant.

Speaking further on how she found out she was pregnant, she disclosed she will be expecting a baby boy.

Linda wrote “2018 started with me finding out I was pregnant. When I missed my period and my friend and I did a home pregnancy test and it read positive, my friend began to cry with happiness but I was just there staring at the stick like, you’re not messing with me, are you? This is real and not a joke on me, right?

“I refused to believe it and asked my friend to drive me to a lab for another test. And there it was confirmed, I was pregnant.

“Me, Linda, I am going to have my own child. Please don’t wake me up from this lovely dream..lol.

Davido, Tiwa Savage nominated for 2018 BET Awards [FULL LIST]

Popular Nigerian singers, Davido and Tiwa Savage have been nominated in the 2018 BET awards.

Both artistes were nominated in the category of ‘International Act.’

The list nominees was made public Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

The 2018 BET Awards is scheduled to hold on Sunday, June 25, 2018 at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, United States.

Davido who was recently crowned Artist of the Year at the recent Headies 2018 had won the award in 2014.

Big Brother Naija 2018 winner, Miracle has finally addressed reports making the rounds that he is in a relationship with a ‘Sugar Mummy’ simply identified as Juliet.

The internet was agog over the weekend with claims and pictures that the winner of the just concluded BBNaija reality show, Miracle, had a sugar mummy.

However, Miracle’s brother, Captain Igbokwe, has reacted to the allegation on behalf of his brother.

Captain Igbokwe, who took to his Instagram page to address the issue in a video, said the woman known as Juliet was actually their aunt.

He said it was disrespectful for anyone to allege that Miracle had anything amorous to do with his own aunt.

He said “Juliet is Miracle’s aunt, it is insulting because someone is hurt or you have been unable to see Miracle outside the house then try to fabricate stories.

“In our family, we love each other dearly and down to earth. And then someone calls my aunt, my brother’s sugar mummy it is unfair. How do you expect people to see her in public, this is a woman who has a reputation?”

Speed Darlington took to the streets of New York to demand payment for his song ‘ Bangdadadang’ played by Dj Lambo during last Saturday night party.

In a short video clip he shared via Instagram, he said he makes no money as an independent artist, therefore, deserved to be paid by BBNaija.

In the video, he said “I hear BBNaija is using Bangdadadang and they gave me no money. They are using my music for free without penny in my pocket.

Ex-housemate of the 2018 edition of Big Brother Naija, Lolu has reacted to the fight between housemates Cee-c and Tobi.

Speaking with Pulse, Lolu disclosed that Cee-c cannot go 10 minutes without talking about Tobi.

Tobi and Cee-c engaged in a near-fight argument on Wednesday. 

The fight resulted to Biggie issuing warning strikes to Cee-c while Tobi was given “Big Brother’s advice.”

Lolu, who was evicted on Sunday said Cee-c always had a way of bringing Tobi into anything she said.

He said, “From the Cee-c’s angle, she cannot go ten minutes without referring to anything that concerns Tobi.

This is coming after she verbally attacked fellow housemate, Tobi, and challenged him to a fight.

Cee-c had on Wednesday accused Tobi of gossiping about her with other housemates and decided to challenge him face-to-face, asking him to talk right before her instead of gossiping.
