Mexico and UNODC present second opium poppy cultivation survey
29 November 2018 - The Government of Mexico and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime presented today the opium poppy cultivation survey on Mexico covering the periods of 2015-2016 and 2016-2017. The report estimates that opium poppy cultivation increased by 21 per cent in the country between these time periods, representing a net increase of 5,400 hectares.
